Congratulations Noah!

Congratulations Noah!

He had his first of many graduations to come. He looked so incredibly cute, but also quite grown up in his first cap and gown for graduation from Temple Sholom pre-school. First came the procession.

He knew just where to sit because his chair had his picture on it

Everyone take your seats.
There was a short service (with audience participation)

And then a blessing for all the kids under a "chuppa" .
And then it was time for diplomas. Noah has made some really nice friends in school and we hope he will stay friends with many of these kids. He will be going to Sunday school in the fall and should be with lots of the same kids. The day was extra-special because Nanny, Poppy, and Grampy were all there to see graduation! We could tell all morning that Noah was pretty proud. He has grown so much in school, has learned incredible amounts, tries his best at everything, and really enjoyed going there every day. We are really proud of him too.

The "Graduation Blog" is a fitting end and beginning. With mixed emotions, this is the last entry into "Noah's Blog". There will be a new blog for both Noah and Sophie. We still remember starting Noah's blog at 3:42 in the morning, August 16, 2006 when Noah was 2 days old and David was wide awake in the hospital. But Noah has a sister now, and we are sure that Noah and Sophie will continue to grow to be the best of friends (most days!), and they will be doing more and more together. They certainly adore each other. We are going to combine Noah and Sophie's blog. So in the future, check out our new blog: "Noah and Sophie's Blog" at http://noahandsophiesblog.blogspot.com/.

This blog has certainly been an adventure. We are sure it will only get better!

Thanks for following along.

With love,

Us.

Noah in Kentucky

We went to Kentucky over Memorial Day weekend to visit Evan and Josh and Aunt Erin and Uncle Kyle. My mom and dad weren't so good about taking alot of pictures for some reason. But we sure had fun. I loved the plane ride. See my reading material--I read the "In Case of Emergency" brochure most of the way there.

We had a great time playing and just hanging out.

I got to go to Josh's baseball game and see him win the game ball! And it was super nice of him to let me sleep in his bed.One day we got to go to their pool Check out the cool whale! And, well...I kind of saved the city from the Evil Emporer with my tank! We had a great weekend. Sophie did too. Check out her blog for more fun pictures!

I went to Max's graduation too!

I went to Max's graduation in DC last month too. If you check out Sophie's blog you will find more fun pictures. What a fun and busy weekend. I also got to play all weekend with Samantha and Benjamin. Congratulations Max!I especially like this one: "THE COUSINS"

Graduation on Sunday was on the Mall in DC and there was lots of room to race airplanes with Ben.And I got to see old friends and make new friends. I think once you hold hands together, you're friends, right?

Like my new friend I met on the mall at graduation.I hung out a bunch with Poppy. We had alot to talk about. And he likes chocolate ice cream too. See him eyeing my dessert? We don't have the best pictures, but one day I went to the Smithsonian Air and Space museum with Sam and Ben. That was really cool. I'll get better pictures next time. What a fun weekend! Bye for now.

Love,

Noah

Happy Mother's Day Mommy

We're still catching up from being away so long. We had a fun Mother's Day. It was a gorgeous spring day and a real family day. We don't have many pictures of our whole family so here it is... say cheese! Grampy came to visitAnd we all went to Radnor Valley for dinner. Happy Mother's Day mommy! What else is new? Anyone want a treat? This is the BIGGEST candy bar ever. David brought it home from Italy for Noah.
And now that the weather is warm, how about a treat outside?Or maybe a ride in Daddy's car with my sister to Dairy Queen for more ice cream treats!

These kids sure get alot of treats!!

More fun and adventures soon!

Love, Noah

We're back! Easter Fun

We are going to try and catch up on the blog and all the fun things we've been doing. The last blog was from Passover. Well the next weekend we had Easter fun. The morning started checking out the Easter basket the Easter Bunny left. Then we had an Easter Egg hunt in our back yard with all the kids from the neighborhood!

And a little pause to check out the goodies hidden in the eggs. And always time to share with his friends. He was really good about that. And it wasn't over yet. Then we went to Aunt Pat's and had another Easter egg hunt! Ready, set ...GO!And more goodies hidden in the eggs.We had lots of fun playing with Andrew and AlaynaAnd dinner was great with a good ol' fashioned kids table (including Cousin Jenny who is a kid at heart)
